Grown in Vayots Dzor, Armenia, and made by our family. Here is what to look for in the glass.
Nose
A luscious mix of apricot, mountain honey and ripe pineapple, with candied mango and butterscotch.
Palate
The palate follows the nose and gains intensity: candied apricot, ripe honeydew and mountain honey.
Winemaking
Fermented slowly in oak for up to a year, leaving 8 to 12% residual sugar, then aged two to three years in barrel before bottling. It can age in bottle for over 20 years.
Pour it with
Fruit tarts, crème brûlée, foie gras and aged hard cheeses.
