Grown in Vayots Dzor, Armenia, and made by our family. Here is what to look for in the glass.
Nose
Beautifully integrated cocoa and ripe black cherry, unfolding into raisin, vanilla and smoky oak.
Palate
Rich and velvety, with nutty toffee and red fruit. A warming, long finish that recalls fruit preserves.
Winemaking
Fermentation is stopped with 10-year-aged brandy spirit, then the wine is aged further in barrel.
Pour it with
Dark chocolate, blue cheese and nut tarts, or on its own after dinner.
